Michelman partners with IACMI to develop advanced carbon fibre composites

The Fire Retardant Additives (FRA) business unit of Huber Engineered Materials, a division of J.M. Huber Corp, has increased production capacity by 20% at its manufacturing plant in Bauxite, AR, USA. According to the company, this expansion supports the transfer of its proprietary technology for the production of fine precipitated Martinal® LEO alumina trihydrate (ATH) products obtained via its 2016 acquisition from Albemarle of the Martinswerk facility in Bergheim, Germany [ADPO, February 2016].
